Stamped concrete is one of the most popular upgrades Salt Lake City homeowners make — and it’s easy to see why. You get the beauty of natural stone, brick, or slate without the cost, maintenance, and long-term stability issues that come with those materials. And unlike real stone or pavers, a properly installed stamped concrete surface won’t shift, sink, or allow weeds to push through.
We design and install custom stamped concrete patios, driveways, walkways, pool decks, and interior floors throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Every project is tailored to the client — from pattern and color selection through final sealing.
Stamped concrete typically costs less than natural stone or high-end pavers, requires less maintenance, and won't shift or develop gaps over time. The trade-off is that individual sections of stamped concrete can't be replaced the way individual pavers can.
With proper installation and regular sealing, stamped concrete can last 25 years or more. The sealer is especially important in Utah — it protects the color and surface from UV fading, freeze-thaw damage, and deicing chemicals.
We recommend resealing every 2 to 3 years for exterior stamped concrete in Utah's climate, or sooner if the surface starts to look dull or porous.
Minor cracks can be filled and sealed with good results. Because color matching can be tricky on aged concrete, we recommend addressing cracks early before they grow. Large structural issues are harder to repair without visible seams.
Yes. Existing concrete can be stained, overlaid, or resurfaced with a stamped overlay — which is a thin layer of concrete placed over the existing slab that can be stamped and colored. It's a great way to upgrade old concrete without full replacement.
